German association,
founded 2002 in Heidelberg, Germany, aiming (among other goals) to spread
the use of memory techniques within the range of Euopean states. The
association is listed in the
Heidelberg register of associations.
MemoryXL is the organizer of both the annual Southern and Nothern German
Memory Championships.
The annual
titles "German Mermory Champion (m)" and "German Memory Champion (f) have
been
achieved by members of MemoryXL for many years. These titles are being
awared at the
"Deutsche
Gedächtnismeisterschaft".
In 2007 club member Dr. Gunther Karsten became World Memory Champion 2007
in Bahrain.
